Wilfred Lebel
This photograph was taken in a potato field in northern Maine near the New Brunswick border of Canada. Wilfred Lebel worked this land his entire life, all 88 years of it. He was a simple man, he worked hard and served his country. He was a farmer, a husband, welder, factory worker and a bus driver. Wilfred liked to fish, hunt and curse. He was ordinary and extraordinary.
